It was a great experience to play with the Robert Vatovec Big Band so it seems a new co-operation is gonna be born. For the beggining Ana is celebrating 15th anniversary and a celebration is coming up. Ana is planinng a celebration concert in Pivka with bunch of slovenian pop-rock stars. More about it is comin' up in couple of days...

Friday afternoon was a great experience playing with such legend as Vlado Kreslin. We spent some nice time that afternoon with the guys, before the night gig. The crowd was great, Ana played four new songs and at the end, what seemed the most important, hippystyle homage, an evergreen. Resničen svet (True world). Truly see you next time.

Nice gig in Vogrsko, one for gaining up a band morality... After being in a lo-fi mood, things could get better.. Still up to make those recordings. The new album is delayed, we're kinda slow but we're coming...

Couple of shitty gigs lately...

Marko, Happy B day...

Marko, first band's afroslovenian is back. We're taking some time without performing to catch some time to get the new album recorded...

We're facing a month long break, as a result of Marko's trip to Ivory Coast and Ghana... After he's coming back we start to record new songs in our home studio. Songs are great and worth to be performed right. We're looking forward to make an awesome album...

Ana performed two gigs last saturday. First one was at celabration of a girl's choir, where Ante made a total blast. Ana just couln't reach him.. Afterwards Ana got off to Ajdovščina, where she performed a show at two o'clock in the morning. Everybody was tired of everything but still enjoying the show very much. As usualy we had to extend afterparty it a bit...

The show in Tolmin started clasicaly but soon it turned out that this is not gonna be an ordinary gig. Songs included a lot of improvisation, and couple of pieces lived to become really great ones. The show ended up with a capela singig, where the guys show that they are not just a rock band but could be also peace of a choir. People, even a critical ones, have given a nod...

November 7 happened to be Ana Pupedan's birthday. November 7 1992 was a date when Ana Pupedan got at a first rehearshals ever... Happy birhtday Ana!

Ročinj offered some rare songs, which were played by civil Ana; sixty suits were forgotten in Pivka. The moon was just half of it what undoubtedly affects dudes as Ana Pupedan are. Nice show though.

Afternoon gig in Domžale was straight from highway on the stage. Ante played couple of hits when guitarist caught hand injury because of playing in affect. Everything was not finished early in new family house of Peter and Monika not far from Domžale.

Weekend was tough even for party animals like we are... Three gigs in a row with after party till the morning were exhausting... Idrija was great, technically perfect show with a lot of energy. Čadrg was certain kind of experience. Really nice spot for the festival, but gallons of booze and bunch of buds made their own scenario. A gig with more fat tones couldn't prevent audience to party so we had to get back on the stage couple of times. Despite of all, Ana made her best in that circumstances.. Ajdovščina the next day were also very kind, people know the songs, so they are singing along all of the time. Very nice audience, very grateful people. Ana still seems to be No. 1 in Ajdovščina. We'll be back!!

First demo recordings of new songs are done. Recordings were taken at our own local studios. Some work to be done on the songs and album is out. Bunch of great songs are waiting for you to check 'em out...

Nice people in Kamnik, Ante was, after half a year of pause, trying to play couple of acoustic songs... He made it with a distinction, people loved it very much so Kamnik, it seems Ante will be back soon...

Nice show in Postojna, technically not hundred and ten percent but with a lot of enthusiasm and energy put into a songs... Ana simply kicked their asses as usual.. People loved it a lot and both bands Ana played with, agreed that Ana deserves a good name and reputation...

Quite a step done for a new record so it's coming closer and closer....

Three quarters of the band are hanging around creative campus Sajeta in great ambient of Tolmin. Nice place for having some songs done.

Things are going slow with the newest record but time will tell. Nena is faithfully waiting for us to arrange songs for the musical we should be working on so we're very very busy but it seems we're avoiding it :)

It was nice in Železniki, nice place, nice show, couple of nice bands... On fire stepped out like really nice ones. The same was said for Ana Pupedan... We organized their gig in Pivka, unfortunately for small bunch of people, but you can believe, all very enthusiastic about it. The band sound great and it seemed that we're speaking the same language :) Otherwise we finished eating a goulash, drinking and smoking as ever... We have felt great having Vox back on the stage, but unfortunately the show was one of the short ones; The real things were still waiting to get on the stage... So long Železniki, we are looking forward to next year again...

We got warned couple of times not to play too loud in Trieste. We said no worries like this is something usual. They were lucky 'cos Vox refused to work so it was the best thing that could happen to the guys :) Luckily it was not a big deal so it was used next day in Železniki working as hell. Firs set was like a set from the terrace band, but all thing ended up much louder, faster and disharmonic ally oriented. We haven't gone home but stuck near by at Lokev on Slovenian side of the EU border...

Klanec was really something special, ask in local bar :)

Local people in Drežnica are so nice you just cannot believe... So we enjoy it a lot, with two broken strings, couple of covers Ana never plays..

Ana is always something special, so we played at castle's yard, but other bands played behind the castle in the park.. Anyway, it was great, people liked it very much after five years, we really made a great show, but New Zealand guys didn't make it... What a pity... So guys, hope you'll make it another time...

Postojna was kind of scouts event, so we had to watch out not to use rude speaking.... But all ended up right...

Ante played at festival of chanson at Križanke in Ljubljana with David Šuligoj, a great accordion player... We've performed Formula za pogum, which sounded great on TV...

We've eaten cherries after a couple of years at celebration of cherries...

Ilirska Bistrica was celebrating 40 years of MKNŽ club, which is one of the first alternative clubs in Slovenia. The future is uncertain as a result of politics, which obviously wants to bring entrepreneur culture to the people... Activism seems to be redundant. Anyway, Ana was playing for about three hours, also couple of new songs, so people got home satisfied, but in the same time with strange, bitter aftertaste, what will happen with the club... F*** the politics...

Plenty of people in Ajdovščina; faithful and grateful audience was really nice experience for Ana. Two sets, long show, Ana was changing instruments and everything turned out great. If the guys just empty the mobile toilets.... We'll be back...

It’s been awhile since our last gig in Črnomelj. The same afternoon, Ante Upedanten played a couple of songs for cerebral paralysis association in Postojna right next to Postojna Blues Festival stage, where Ten Years After was making a sound check. Črnomelj was kind, Ana played tons of songs from all three album and also a lot of covers, which is not usual... Later on, local singer of Macedonian national songs jumped on the stage so we made really interesting dub. The gig ended well, considering the last show in Črnomelj ;)

The show in Landol was great, great intro, a lot of interesting song interpretations. People just loved it. It is (almost) all recorded on the mini disc ;) It was unbearable hot on the stage so we lost a lot of weight during the show. But it was worth it. Looking forward to perform more gigs like that. Come and check it…

Sorry everybody for not coming to gig to Dolina. We'd rather be there, you better believe...

Ana is taking part at theatre play, which is to be performed on the stages all over Slovenia in second part of a year... Old Slovene songs newly arranged by Ante Upedanten expected...

The aim of the show at Metelkova is to raise some money for friend of ours Dani Kavas, who is facing wheel chair after an accident happened to him couple of months ago...he's up to build a wheelchair driveway to his house so get your ass there and help the guy... You can check his website

Nice show in Skopo, nice sound, Vox worked as hell, good wine, even too good... wine could be strong sometimes (strings sound kind of weird :)..

It's been tough night at Stasa & Samir wedding.. Ante played couple of his pieces, there were victims however we won. So we believe Guys from London spent some very nice time here, right guys?

Ana spent a weekend at a nice old ranch with bunch of sheep and two big dogs (friendly, thanx god) making new songs for a new album. Around half of the songs made, but still plenty of work needed. It's definitely a success, since it's so hard to gather the bunch together...

New wedding on the horizon... Ex girlfriends are getting married... so there will be a need to play couple of songs of Ante probably..

Single guys of Ana Pupedan are dangerously getting thinner and thinner… Peter got married in States in July, profited most out of our US tour. We repeated the marriage procedure in Slovenia in August wishing them luck, warm fireplace and variegated bed. Whole thing ended up at the daylight as usual…
